WOW! Very bold, very straight-forward!! He leaves no gray, it's black and white....like a spiritual boot camp! Do you have the link where I can watch his sermon to the women??

I have been thinking alot about this sermon today... and I just had to drop by to say one more thing.

The only criticism I have is I wish he would have focused a little more on the hope that comes from the atonement.

To be more clear...There are many men who sin ignorantly because they were not raised by a good father themselves or had no father. Not that this excuses sin.... but without a knowledge of something, it becomes a mistake and not a sin. There is a difference. I would have also liked to see him focus on the divine nature of man. We are sons and daughters of God who loves us perfectly, we are His. As children of God, our spirits are divine and we are of infinite worth. It is the natural man that is the enemy to God but the spirit of man and woman is of infinite worth. As a mother purpose in guiding my children and correcting them is out of love and gentleness, to lead them kindly to a better way and not tear them down. It is important that we discern between divine discontent and the devils dissonance.

I agree that it is the most direct and no nonsense talk on marriage I have ever heard. I don't always agree 100% with all Mark sais but that largely comes down to the cultural differences between the UK and the US. Core theology wise I do agree with his standpoint on scripture.

If you follow this link then you can see the rest of the sermons in the series including the one for ladies and marriage:

For a great sermon on the Atonement and why Jesus died take a look here. They are just as direct and brutally honest:

I pray with all my heart, the same as I pray for myself, that your heart and eyes would be open and the Lord God speaks to you and brings revelation of who He is and what He has done for you. That the truth as revealed in the Bible becomes a deeper reality in your life and that you increasingly turn to Jesus as your sole Lord and Saviour.

God Bless!

Thanks Andrew.
I rejoice in your testimony of Jesus Christ. He is my Savior, my truest Friend. I need Him every hour and every second of every day. I cannot begin to explain my feelings of gratitude for His Atoning sacrifice in my behalf. He has paid the price of my sin and redeems me from death. He fills me with hope in this life and hope of heaven. I know He lives. I know He came to do the will of the Father and through Him I can see what God our Father sees in me. It fills me with so much joy!! I rejoice in the knowledge of my Savior! And am so happy that you do too!

Hi Andrew it's me again. I watched the video to the women and LOVED it. I agree with what he teaches I think in just about everything. I agreed with his teachings in the video to the men too, his tone was something I wasn't used to though. I have never experienced a sermon where the preacher yelled... But I believe God does not tolerate abuse in any form whatsoever, so I apprecieated his intent. This really is such wonderful counsel and so many marriages could be saved if people would apply God's word correctly, like Mark says.

Have you ever heard of The Family: A Proclamation to the World. I think it touches on many of the same things in these videos, you can read it here:

May the Lord bless you Andrew. I really enjoy reading yours and Nick's blogs... I hope you don't mind me following since I don't know you personally.

I loved every minute of it, and it's my second time watching it. I will continue to watch it until I realize I'm no longer the idiotic fool I have been for so long. Even then I may watch it just to remind me of how not to be. Our women and children deserve us to be our best. Let's give them our best, as only we can do when we use Jesus as our Example, our Leader and our Savior.
